Production Process
Raw Material Preparation & Dough Mixing
Flour, water, oil, salt, sugar, and other ingredients are mixed according to the recipe to create stable dough suitable for tortilla production.
Dough Chunking & Lifting
The bulk dough is automatically divided into smaller dough blocks and transferred to the dividing and rounding system, reducing manual handling and improving production continuity.
Dough Dividing & Rounding
The dough is precisely divided into consistent portions and rounded into smooth dough balls, helping ensure stable weight, shape, and final tortilla size.
Proofing
The dough balls enter the proofer, where temperature, humidity, and time are controlled to improve dough extensibility and elasticity before pressing.
Hot-Press Forming
The proofed dough balls are pressed into round tortilla sheets by heated platens. This step helps achieve uniform thickness and prepares the product for baking.
Tunnel Baking
The formed tortillas pass through the tunnel oven for uniform baking, drying, and setting, helping create consistent color, texture, and taste.
Rapid Cooling
After baking, the tortillas are quickly cooled to reduce sticking and prepare them for stable stacking and packaging.
Automatic Counting, Stacking
After cooling, the tortillas are automatically counted and stacked according to the preset quantity. This helps ensure neat arrangement, consistent stack size, and easier handling for the next packaging step.
Packaging
The stacked tortillas can be transferred to the packaging section or connected with an automatic packaging machine, supporting continuous production and improving overall line efficiency.
